River is woman

River has sinuous body and dark self
By night, where it curves about grass.
She gives no consent to her mass rape.

She is girl on woven coconut leaf mat
Awaiting her body’s flower to unfold.
Do not shred  her bud to dead pieces.

Court recognises river’s womanhood.
Do not mess with a river in its curves.
She will rise from a  coconut leaf mat

And leave snakes of genitals bloodier
And smarting in your unzipped pants .
River gives no consent to a mass rape.
