Old woman has a bag of ripe plums

Poor old woman and the ripe poet
Are walking in a depressed street.

The situation is half eaten plums.
They taste good , they state good.

Poor old woman takes a comfort
From ripe poems of ripened poet.

They taste good, plums of a poet
They taste good, they state good.

Poems taste good, poets’ plums.
Plums are good in old hag’s bag.

Poet states plum poems at night.
Ripe poet says plums taste good.

Poor old woman is ripe as plum.
They state good , ripening poets.

(Recalling the poem “To a Poor Old woman” by William Carlos Williams)
