Stone in shoe

What came out was stone in  shoe.
You had to open shoes on the road
To take it out , to throw , move on.

But it was a buzz-fly into the ears
A shrill Socratic nagging in home
You could not take out (move on).

It was your dream’s awkwardness-
An internal snap, a stone in shoe
Ear’s buzz-fly, a  memory of fail.

Now fear of it all coming to close
Is stone in shoe, death’s buzz-fly
To round it up as mere whimper.
