A boy is up and ready to go into a beach
A lifebuoy and clear sky under his arms
A storm arrives , terror of the elements.

Boy goes into the dream mode on a ship
A sky is evil like man’s first disobedience.
Its darkness is a black crow on the stern.

Memorize 60000 words of Paradise Lost,
Face evil head on, a storm on black sky,
(This shall pass but boy too shall pass.)

We justify possible ways of God to men.
There are romantic ways of black storms.
The words will teach us not to question.

We shall memorize words as our ashes
But to whom do we justify God’s ways
After we are words and come to pass?
