Last laugh

I have not made hay while the sun shines.
A sun is still shining and the  hay not made.
A bonus may  be claimed as  in insurance.

Get  insurance posthumously with bonus.
It is when you gather the  poet’s last laugh,
Riding on a gutter feeling of being one up.

A kinda last laugh is yours for the asking.
Please ask when you are at the last croak,
It is when you get insurance with bonus.

(taking off from John Betjeman’s poem The last laugh)
