Daily moon rises assiduously in sky
Over roofs littered with fallen stars.
The sky sprinkles star dust on roofs
The very ones pointed to daughters
Before one no longer rises in a bed.

Daily moon has a crick in her neck
Craning to love us from a coconut.
Daily moon pays rent for coconut.
The coconut collects water in belly
And a white moon in inside lining.

Daily moon rises in a sea of minds.
Minds rise and set as moons in sea.
Minds pay no daily rent for moons,
A lifetime fee as they point to kids
Wild bears in a grain of night stars
So they can sleep off their moons.
