Boys were boys in standing
With arms tucked on chests.
Lips trembled with numbers.
Eyes shut a sweet transport.

Numbers rolled as shadows
Movie trees on windshield.
They were nothings in eyes,
A few apples and fishbones.

Rabbits multiplied in books
And they were very jungle.
They had balls up in the air
Marbles down to earth pits.

Boys were boys in standing
Till the school bell quivered.
Boys had numbers by heart.
Boys had a world by heart.
