a poem a day by A.J.Rao

Power is a matter of plumbing
And when there is a black day
Power does not flow in wires.
Call a plumber to turn back on.
He will repair our water pipes.

It took life’s source from body
Because baby needed to wind.
Our body is full of water flow
Like light in a temple of God
Who stared us in saucer eyes.

Our source body went in light
As it bathed in water of power
A hydro-electric thing in body
Reaching into an inward earth,
A way bodies vanish from eyes.
