By a happy chance I click them together
With a smiling dad,in engagement feast.
Boy is a God’s middleman ,cloth-linked
With bride imbued with dad’s optimism.

From his place somewhere in deep sky
Dad’s old man showers down blessings
Like fortuitous flowers on a nearby dog
Lazily sprawled on a summer’s daylight.

Yellow paper flowers have no fragrance.
Dogs cant sniff fragrances with tongues
Out of their mouths busy with drooling.
However dog must be enjoying beauty.

You might say,with optimistic camera
I have strayed into this dog metaphor
Leaving smiling couple to their devices
(Their own click-happy selfie cameras)
But it is what serendipity is all about.
